Metaverse Law Conference – TRAIL In Partnership With CLINDS
On 14 March 2023, the Centre for Legal Innovation and Digital Society (CLINDS) Faculty of Law, Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), partnered TRAIL in organising the Metaverse Law Conference at its Graduate Law Centre on the second floor of the Bank of America Tower in Hong Kong. The conference examined emerging issues associated with the metaverse in different fields of law, that included contract law, property law, intellectual property, data protection, consumer protection and financial law – https://www.law.cuhk.edu.hk/app/events/metaverse-law-conference/
The Media & Arts Law Review will be publishing a special symposium issue comprising a selection of papers presented at this conference. Professor Roger Brownsword from the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, delivered the keynote address. Other presenters included Professor David Tan (Co-Director, TRAIL), Professor Lee Jyh-An (Executive Director, CLINDS), Professor Kelvin Low (NUS Law), Professor Jeannie Paterson (Melbourne Law School), Associate Professor Wang Runhua (University of Science & Technology Beijing) and Assistant Professor Eliza Mik (CUHK).
