Surprise Proposal at the Moot Court!

Armed with balloons, photos, a birthday cake, flowers and not forgetting their band, Isaac Chua ’14 and his friends decorated the NUS Law’s Moot Court to surprise a special someone on her birthday – and it turned out to be the most memorable event of their lives! After the band performed three songs (one of which was specially composed for the birthday girl, Wu Wenyu ’15), Isaac in true gentlemanly fashion got down on one knee and popped the big question.

Needless to say, she said YES!

The Moot Court holds a special place in the couples’ heart as both of them had organised many activities there, and got to know each other better, during their time in the 32nd Law Club. In fact, it was during a very similar band performance in the Moot Court that Isaac first caught Wenyu’s eye and the sparks flew from there.

Congratulations to Isaac Chua ’14 and Wu Wenyu ’15! We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together!
