NUS Law Alumni Promoted in Cabinet Reshuffle

Congratulations to NUS Law Alumni Indranee Rajah ’86, Edwin Tong ’94, and Amrin Amin ’03 on their promotions!

Ms Indranee Rajah will be promoted to Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, and will be the third female minister in the Cabinet. Ms Indranee will also be Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for Education from 1 May.

Mr Edwin Tong will be promoted to Senior Minister of State in the Ministry for Law and Health from 1 July.

Mr Amrin Amin will be promoted to Senior Parliamentary Secretary and will continue in both the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Home Affairs. His appointment will take effect on 1 May.
