NUS Law Commencement 2018

Congratulations to NUS Law's Class of 2018 on the conferment of their degrees! Chong Shi Cheng, valedictorian for the Class of 2018, thanked professors and loved ones. Addressing his classmates, Shi Cheng said, “When success is achieved, it is easy to get caught up in it. It is then that we must remember to be grateful and humble. Equally, when faced with setbacks, which would invariably happen many times in our lives, it is important to not allow them to defeat us, but rather, to learn from the experience, and to become a little wiser and a little more resilient. Thus, as we move from the shelter of school and into the phase of practice, I hope that we will always practise the attributes of humility, resilience, and willingness to learn.”
