The Centre has published a number of books to assist laypersons in navigating various areas of law, including:

The Legal Toolkit for Witnesses (with a focus on vulnerable witnesses) (2020) is a joint collaboration between CPBCLE, Hagar Singapore Ltd, the State Courts and the Community Justice Centre. The Toolkit seeks to assist caregivers and professionals who support vulnerable witnesses who have to testify in criminal trials. The Toolkit covers areas such as the stages in a criminal trial, what witnesses do in court and the protection of vulnerable witnesses in court.

The Toolkit is available here.

The Centre is proud to present the Covid-19 Migrant Workers Booklet and Infographic. The booklet and infographic cover issues such as what are migrant worker rights during this period? Are they still entitled to leave, salary, work transfer? What are their rights during quarantine? This is the tireless work of a group of intrepid rising 2nd year NUS Law students, supported by Ronald JJ Wong of Covenant Chambers. Translations and verifications were done through the wider NUS community, linked through NUS Office of Student Affairs, with help from professors, staff, grad and undergrad students from other NUS faculties, and lawyers from all over the world.

The booklet is currently available in the following languages:

1. English 2. Hindi 3. Malay
4. Mandarin 5. Tamil 6. Burmese
