Megan has been in practice since 2009. She started her career in litigation at Drew & Napier LLC before joining Tan Rajah & Cheah where she is now a Partner.

Her litigation practice is varied and straddles commercial and criminal litigation with a focus on “white collar” crime and corporate misfeasance. As a litigator, Megan has had successful appearances as lead counsel in the Court of Appeal, the High Court as well as the State Courts.

Megan is a member of the Law Society Criminal Practice Committee and is an active volunteer with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (“CLAS”). In June 2020, Megan secured an acquittal for a CLAS client charged with aggravated rape. She has also secured positive outcomes for youthful offenders through her CLAS work and is heartened that they are able to find stability in life.

Megan has also served as the joint-coach for the NUS Jean-Pictet International Humanitarian Law Competition team from 2009 to 2014.
