Description
Jurisdiction clauses, or choice of court agreements, are increasingly utilised in trust deeds. However, in contrast to the contractual context, the law is far from straightforward in relation to trusts. In this webinar, we will discuss the extent to which the rules in the contractual context have been applied to trusts, and the extent to which this position ought to be maintained. We will focus on the Asia-Pacific region, with observations being made about the position in both common law and civil law jurisdictions.
