15th ASLI Conference 2018 –Law into the Future: Perspectives from Asia
The 15th Asian Law Institute (ASLI) Conference was hosted by the Seoul National University School of Law on 10 and 11 May 2018. The two-day conference themed “Law into the Future: Perspectives from Asia”, was attended by 280 scholars. The conference had 255 of its participants as speakers, representing 120 law schools and 29 different jurisdictions. The participants presented papers across 58 sessions that ran in parallel, making this year’s event the largest ASLI conference ever held.
The conference is an annual event organised by the ASLI secretariat, in collaboration with a member school, where legal scholars from Asia and beyond gather to present papers on a variety of topics relating to Asian law.
Next year, the 16th ASLI Conference will be hosted by NUS Law, and the faculty looks forward to welcoming participants to the event in Singapore on 11 and 12 June 2019.
