Benny Tan’s updated volume of Halsbury’s Laws of Singapore Volume 8 – Criminal Law has been published

This 2022 Reissue builds on the strong foundation of content offered by the contributing authors of the previous issues, covering hundreds of criminal offences in Singapore, across close to a thousand offence provisions. This includes offences found in the Penal Code 1871, Misuse of Drugs Act 1973, Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act 1906, Prevention of Corruption Act 1960, Protection from Harassment Act 2014, and Public Order Act 2009. This Reissue endeavours to state the law as it stood on 31 January 2022, and takes into account all the changes to the Penal Code 1871 following the passing of the Criminal Law Reform Act 2019 and the Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2021.
