NUS Law emerges as Finalists at the inaugural Rajah & Tann Moot Court Competition 2022!

Congratulations to Chua Rui Yuan ’23 (Champion) and Samuel Wee ’24 (Runner-Up) for their stellar performance at the Rajah & Tann Moot Court Competition!

Over 40 law students from universities in Singapore and UK engaged in a dispute involving allegations of fetters on the exercise of contractual discretion, wrongful termination, as well as the applicability of the minimum legal obligation rule in assessing the quantum of damages to be awarded on appeal.

Rui Yuan and Samuel both emerged as finalists after competing in the preliminary, quarter-final and semi-final rounds – displaying high levels of advocacy, a firm grasp of the materials provided to them, and thorough research skills.
