NUS Law Welcomes Visiting Professors

NUS Law Visiting Professors and Sheridan Fellow for Semester 1.

NUS Law warmly welcomes our Visiting Professors and Sheridan Fellow for Semester One of the academic year.

Kenneth Khoo ’15 joins NUS Law as a Sheridan Fellow; he will be teaching Evidence.

The 14 visiting professors, who come from some of the top universities in the region and Europe, will be conducting classes based on their area of expertise during their time here.  

Associate Professor Ernest Lim joins us from the University of Hong Kong and is teaching Law of Contract and Company Law D.

Professor Damian Chalmers joins us from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is teaching European Union Law and Law & Regional Integration.

Professor Choong Yeow Choy joins us from the University of Malaya and will be teaching Resolution of Transnational Commercial Disputes and Civil Procedure.

Associate Professor Christopher Hare is visiting from Somerville College, Oxford and will be teaching Wealth Management Law.

Professor Diakhongir Saidov is a MPA Professor in Maritime Law and is visiting from Kings College London. He is teaching International and Comparative Oil and Gas Law.

Professor Lavanya Rajamani joins us from the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi, and is teaching Climate Change and Policy.

Professor Lim Chin Leng is our Lionel A. Sheridan Visiting Professor and joins us from Hong Kong University. He is teaching Law & Practice of Investment Treaty Arbitration.

Professor Michiel Spanjaart is a MPA Professor in Maritime Law and he is teaching Multimodal Transport Law.

Professor Stephen Smith is visiting from McGill University and will be teaching Remedies.

Professor Victor Ramraj joins us from the University of Victoria and is teaching Transnational Law in Theory and Practice.

Professor Christine Chinkin is our Kwa Geok Choo Distinguished Visitor and is teaching International Human Rights of Women. She comes to us from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Professor David Unterhalter is teaching World Trade Law and joins us from the UK.

Professor Satvinder Singh Juss joins us from King’s College London and is teaching International Humanitarian Law.

Professor Woiciech Sadurski joins us from the University of Warsaw and is teaching Freedom of Speech: Critical & Comparative Perspectives.

Each year, the law school hosts around two dozen international visiting faculty, who add to the cosmopolitan nature of the law school by bringing their own unique perspectives to the legal education offered by NUS Law.
