NUS Law wins Lex Infinitum 2021!

NUS Law is very proud to share the news that our NUS Law students have again performed spectacularly, this time at the 6th VMSCL-AIDR International Dispute Resolution Competition (Lex Infinitum VI) held virtually from 21 to 27 February 2021.

After nine intense rounds of mediation and negotiation against 35 other international teams, NUS Law would like to congratulate our winners for their rousing performance at the finals!

This is the second year running that NUS Law has clinched the Mediator championship and third year in a row that our Negotiating Team has finished 2nd Place or better at Lex Infinitum.

The team’s preparation came under the Collaborative Dispute Resolution Club’s Competition Division and the supervision of Samuel Teo ’21. The team was coached by competition alumni Nikhil Angappan ’21, Utsav Rakshit ’21 and Samuel Wittberger ’21, and advised by Victoria Tay ’20. Victoria and Nikhil were the champions of Lex Infinitum 2020.

The team would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to seniors Leanne Cheng ’19, Mark Lim ’19, Isabella Tan ’21, Samuel Teo ’21, Lai Shueh Chien ’21, Kim Haeyoung ’21, Jonathan Lee ’21, Eugene Lau ’21, Darren Chen ’22, Tan Pei Han ’22, Karen Cuison ’22 and Chan You Quan ’22 for their generous guidance, advice, and support.
