February 11, 2021 | Faculty, In the News

We are happy to share the news that our Dean, Professor Simon Chesterman, has been elected Co-President of the Law Schools Global League (LSGL), together with Professor Martin Hogg, Dean of the University of Edinburgh Law School.

They succeed Co-Presidents Amnon Lehavi (Dean of Radzyner Law School – IDC Herzliya) and Gonçalo Matias (Dean of Católica Global School of Law, Lisbon) who have completed their two-year term. The announcement was made on 9 February 2021 during the Deans Meeting of the LSGL, hosted virtually by Tilburg University.

The LSGL was formed in 2012 by a selected number of globally leading law schools that share the common goals of fostering academic debate as well as cooperation in education and research concerning the globalisation of law, and of encouraging dialogue and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders in all fields of legal practice.
