Brief Biodata

Edmund Sim is a partner in Appleton Luff, an international trade law firm with offices in Brussels, Geneva, Kampala, Singapore, Warsaw and Washington DC. He has participated in more than 200 trade remedy proceedings involving products from shrimps to semiconductors. He advises the Government of Timor-Leste on its accession to ASEAN, and has advised the governments of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, China and Oman on international trade policy and disputes. During university, he worked for US Vice President George H.W. Bush and the US Department of the Treasury.
