Brief Biodata

Kelry Loi was an Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Law in the University of Hong Kong where he convened the Commercial Law course (LL.B. and J.D.) and had participated in teaching Global Business Law (LL.B. and LL.M.), Business Associations (LL.B.) and Contract (LL.B.). He has a LL.M. from the University of London and a LL.B. from NUS.

His recent work include publications relating to Quistclose trusts and Romalpa clauses (Law Quarterly Review (2012), Hong Kong Law Journal (2011), Restitution Law Review (2008) and Lloyd's Maritime & Commercial Law Quarterly (2008)), sale of goods (Journal of Business Law (2007) and Hong Kong Law Journal (2009)), trustee exemption clauses (The Conveyancer and Property Lawyer (2011)), mortgagees' and receivers' duties (Journal of Business Law (2010), The Conveyancer & Property Lawyer (2010) and Singapore Journal of Legal Studies (2009)), bills of exchange (Chitty on Contracts - Hong Kong Specific Contracts (2008)), performance guarantees (Singapore Academy of Law Journal (2011)) and contract (Law Quarterly Review (2009)).
