Brief Biodata

Debbie has taught Family Law, Law & Sociology of the Family, Conflict of Laws in Family issues and the Law of Torts at the NUS Law Faculty. She publishes mainly in the area of Family Law. She has served as a Court Mediator in the Family Court for a decade, assisted the court as amicus curiae in child proceedings, and currently serves on the Law Society's Family Law Practice Committee. She is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the Child & Family Law Quarterly Journal. Debbie enjoys being involved in projects which further the development of a good family justice system. Believing in the need for community support for families in Singapore, she has also been Chairperson of the Centre Governance Board of the Tampines Family Service Centre for a number of years and is presently also on the Advisory Board of 'Marriage Central'.
