Brief Biodata

Tan Zhong Xing is presently a Sheridan Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Faculty of Law. A graduate of the NUS Law Faculty, Zhong Xing was the recipient of various academic awards including the Montrose Memorial Prize for Jurisprudence and the Wong Peng Koon Prize for Best Directed Research Paper. Prior to entering academia, Zhong Xing practised corporate and commercial litigation.

Zhong Xing's research and teaching interests lie broadly in corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on analysing company law, corporate governance, contract law and related areas from a range of perspectives. His articles have been published (or are forthcoming) in leading generalist and specialist journals, including the Modern Law Review, the Journal of Corporate Law Studies and the Journal of Business Law. Zhong Xing is due to be on study leave at Harvard Law School in academic year 2016 - 2017.
