Commercial Law Centre At Harris Manchester College Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With Centre For Law And Business At The National University Of Singapore

On Friday 26th February, the Commercial Law Centre at Harris Manchester College entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Centre for Law and Business at the National University of Singapore. The purpose of the memorandum is to establish a formal link between the two Centres in order to promote joint research in all aspects of national, international, transnational, and comparative law relating to commerce and finance, as well as to carry out interdisciplinary research, to promote research activities involving practitioners and policy makers as well as academics and to encourage early career researchers in the relevant fields. The two Centres will work together to facilitate visits to each other by senior academics, and by doctoral students or early career researchers. They will also run joint conferences both in Oxford and in Singapore. Plans are already underway for a joint conference in January 2017 on schemes of arrangement.
