ASEAN-Asia Arbitration Summit (AAAS)

The Centre's flagship bi-annual Summit brings together ASEAN justice ministries, leading arbitral institutions, senior practitioners, and academic experts. Each edition explores systemic developments shaping arbitration in the region and produces policy-relevant outputs, including the Post-Summit White Paper co-published with the Singapore Journal of International Arbitration (SJIA).

Regional Practitioner Workshop Series

Held annually across ASEAN jurisdictions, this rotating workshop series offers practice-oriented training on contemporary issues such as energy and infrastructure disputes, technology and digital-assets arbitration, construction claims, and investor-state arbitration. The workshops support regional capacity building and deepen cross-border professional networks.

ASEAN-Asia Roundtable Series

NUSCIA will convene an annual programme of themed ASEAN-Asia Roundtables in partnership with leading arbitral institutions and other industry stakeholders. These high-level, practice-focused forums examine emerging issues in international arbitration through a regional lens. Certain editions may be held in collaboration with the Maxwell Summit, launched in November 2025, to further strengthen Singapore's convening role. Each Roundtable will culminate in a publicly accessible Thematic Report, synthesising key insights, doctrinal developments, and practical recommendations.

The 2026 edition of the global roundtable organised by the Institute of Transnational Arbitration's Task Force on Investment Treaty Law, Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS), and the Rule of Law will be hosted at NUS as part of this series.
