OVERVIEW

The Centre for Pro Bono and Clinical Legal Education (CPBCLE) will launch a new pro bono portal for Law students on 1 July 2026.

In preparation for this transition, CPBCLE will accept submissions of pro bono hours in TalentConnect (TC) until 6 May 2026. TC will be closed for data migration purposes from 18 May 2026.

KEY DEADLINES FOR STUDENTS:

  • Semester 2 deadline to record pro bono hours in TC
30 April 2026 (Thu)
  • Last date to initiate new pro bono opportunities for posting in TC
6 May 2026, 2359Hrs (Wed) *
  • Final deadline to record pro bono hours in TC*
18 May – 30 June 2026
  • TC closed for data migration
1 July 2026
  • New Pro Bono portal goes live – Law students can apply for new opportunities and continue to record pro bono hours for previously assigned opportunities.
  • TC decommissioned

*Any pro bono hours not submitted by 6 May 2026 will not be reflected in the new portal.

Students are strongly advised to complete all recordings of pro bono hours in TC by 6 May 2026 to avoid any loss of records.
